Collagraph Print Workshop

I'm really looking forward to teaching the workshop tomorrow at All Good Stuff on Arundel Street in Sheffield a two day print workshop. We will be exploring texture and layers using the Collagraph print technique.

On the first half day session tomorrow we will be plate making and then next week on the 21st a full day printing the plates.

I'll be taking lots of different textured papers, pastes, threads, string and different fabrics to use for the image making and we will be using mount board as the collagraph matrix so we can add some incised marks and dry point type detail to the plates as well.

It promises to be lots of creative fun and hopefully I'll be able to take some photographs of the plates and final printed images which I will post here after the workshop.
